Latis is the Celtic word for daylight, which is a reference to both the region’s strong Celtic heritage and the very special daylight in Cahors which is soft and golden and gives a sensation of peace, well-being and harmony.
Latis was born out of a willingness to produce the best and most approachable Malbec (or Auxerrois) from Cahors and show how much this indigenous grape variety has evolved in its native environment since its rise to international fame.
Produced from grapes meticulously sourced from some of the best plots in Cahors, Latis wines are made from 100% Malbec.
