About
Valle de Orón Ribera del Duero
The grapes for this wine were harvested in October 2014 from Larchago’s own vineyards in San Martin de Rubiales, Ribera del Duero. Made from 100% Tinta del Pais (the local form of tempranillo) from vines at least 30 years old. The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness before being fermented in stainless steel. Three days of maceration followed and the wine was then aged in American oak for a period of three months to add subtle sweet spice notes to the finished wine.
