About
Land of Hope Pinotage
These grapes come from a combination of old bush vines on the farm on the side of the Helderberg Mountain and the Voor Paaderberg in Swartland. The 2017 vintage was very dry and as a result there was a smaller crop than previous years. All of the berries were destemmed but not crushed and placed into a large fermenter, leaving about half of the berries intact to carry-out carbonic maceration.
