Renowned Italian wine brand, Masso Antico is delighted to announce that its award-winning Negroamaro Organic is now listed in ASDA nationwide. Launching in-store this October, Masso Antico Negroamaro Organic now sits besides the Masso Antico Primitivo highlighting the growing consumer demand for indigenous Italian grape varieties.
Produced in the Italian province of Puglia, Masso Antico Negroamaro will retail in ASDA for £10.00.
With intense blackberry and plum notes on the nose, Masso Antico Negroamaro is well balanced, with a long finish. The grapes used for this wine are grown organically and are harvested by hand.
Craig Durham, Managing Director – Buckingham Schenk comments:
“This second listing for Masso Antico with the Negroamaro Organic is fantastic news. It is clear to see that customers are becoming ever more conscious of the drinks they are consuming and their subsequent impact, and we are certainly beginning to see a shift towards organic wine, with the interest in it increasing. This brand has grown substantially for us in the last few years, and we are incredibly proud of the consistent high quality that Masso Antico delivers for consumers which we look forward to expanding on more.”
Produced by Masso Antico, makers of an eclectic range of wines from Southern Italy in the province of Puglia, these wines bring modern interpretations to classic local grape varieties. The name itself derives from the old farmhouse, or ‘Masseria’ which was built on Masso Antico’s first ever vineyards in Puglia, and is a symbol of the roots and history of the land.
