Pormenor Branco

This wine is a blend of mainly Rabigato, Malvasia Fina and Códega do Larinho, from old vines planted at altitudes of between 600m and 700m in the Douro Superior. After a careful selection at the sorting table, the fermentation and ageing was in stainless steel vats with the small lees. Minimum intervention until bottling in order to keep freshness and minerality, and a good mouthfeel which contrasts with a balanced acidity, typical characteristics from micaschist soils.

Taste
Fresh mineral aromas and medium fruit intensity. Good mouthfeel, hint of grapefruit and lime and very pleasant acidity. Light, balanced and elegant, with subtle notes of citrus. Great with grilled fish and seafood, white meats and pasta.

About the Producer

Pormenor Vinhos was established in Douro in 2013 following the dream of three friends – José Silva, Miguel Cardozo and Pedro Coelho. The wine bond at the time was somewhat indirect, with older family members who worked both as oak barrel producers and as cork producers.
