Pipers Brook Pinot Gris

The grapes used for thus Pinot Gris have had a short period of skin contact to create a more complex, rich, and savoury wine. The enhanced juice was fermented at moderately low temperatures in French oak barrels, and then aged in oak for 12 months. the oak influence adds complexity and palate weight, while improving ageing potential.

Taste
A powerful nose of stone fruit, baked apple, sweet spice and toast. The palate is weighty and rich, but fresh acidity cuts through and adds a touch of citrus to the finish. Serve with seafood in creamy sauces and tempura prawns.
