Gergenti Nero d’Avola/Sangiovese

The Sicilian viticulture is unique in the world: diversified territories on the slopes of the mountains or near the sea, with vineyards located either few meters from the shoreline or at the bottom of a volcano.

The Gergenti selection offers two wines, a white and a red, made from noble local grapes.

Taste
This wine is aged in oak barrels for at least 6 months. Intense ruby red colour. Complex nose with notes of vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and round and very well-balanced. Excellent with red meats, cold meat antipasti and cheeses.
