About

Bandol Rouge

The Bandol appellation was first developed as a red wine producing area. This wine is a perfect example of how great red Bandol can be. Mourvèdre, Carignan, Grenache make up the blend of this beautiful Bandol Red. Grenache brings roundness and beautiful fruit aromas, Mourvèdre which is the quintessential grape of Bandol brings woody and leathery flavours, and the Carignan adds a touch of spice. The wine is aged in large wooden barrels for a year and further two years in bottle.
