Amayna Syrah

Harvested May 15th, 2012 with fruit selection in vineyards and in the winery. Hand-picked in 10 kilos containers. In the winery, cool maceration at 7 °C for 7 days. Fermented in stainless steel with mechanic punch down. Aged for 14 months in French oak, with 60% of the wine in new barrels and 40% in second use barrels.

Taste
Intense purple-violet colour. The nose is dominated by aromas of violets, green olives and blueberries. An intense and powerful palate with many flavours, but well-balanced and delicate. Long finish and great ageing potential. Ideal with red meats, cheese and spicy dishes.
