About

Amayna Chardonnay

Harvested from April 15th until 28th. Fruit selection in vineyards and in the winery. Hand-picked in 10 kilos containers. Fermented in stainless steel at temperatures of approximately 17 °C. Two month contact with the lees after fermentation. The wine then spends 12 months in French oak, with 15% of the wine in new barrels, 35% in second use barrels, 35% in third use barrels and 15% from stainless steel tanks

Taste
Bright light yellow with subtle gold trim. The nose shows ripe tropical fruits, caramel and baked apples. Very clean on the palate, fresh and balanced with citrus flavours, delicate acidity and a savoury and mineral finish. A complex wine, which in time will develop notes of honey and apricot. Ideal pairings are salmon, tuna, seafood, cheese, white meats and desserts.
